Florida Premier Soccer Announces Management Team
Moir and Coles join Orlando based franchise from Mass Premier Soccer

Waltham, 28h June 2010; Florida Premier Soccer has announced the management team who will lead the Orlando based franchise which is set to launch this summer.

Former Mass Premier Soccer senior staff members, Andrew Moir and Jon Coles will leave MA this July to join FPS.  Moir has been named as General Manger of the Orlando outfit with Coles named School of Excellence Director.

“I am delighted for the opportunity to undertake a fresh challenge in my career and look forward to the exciting launch of Florida Premier Soccer,” said Moir.  “It is with great enthusiasm that Jon and I look forward to elevating Florida Premier Soccer to an organization synonymous with quality and professionalism.”

Arriving at MPS in 2003, Moir was responsible for the creation and growth of the Bay State West School of Excellence boys program which produced a conveyor belt of talent for the MPS Bulldogs Premier Team program.

Under Moir’s leadership, the Bay State West SOE program produced a multitude of talent, highlighted by 2010 US youth National Team player Declan McCabe.  In his role as MPS Bulldogs Director, Moir led his current U15 Bulldogs squad to back to back State Cup finalist appearances (2009 & 2010) and a USL Super-Y League North American championship final (2009).  In his office role, Moir has been the Marketing, Communications and Player Education Director at the club.

Arriving at MPS in 2007, Coles achieved immediate success by capturing a US Club Soccer National Championship with the MPS U17 Bulldogs in 2008.

Coles was then dedicated responsibility for the launch of the MPS Knights Premier Team program.  After guiding the U13 Knights squad to a Super-Y League New England Regional title and a berth in the 2009 National Finals, Coles led his squad to a State Cup semi-finalist appearance in 2010.  In his office role, Coles has worked as the MPS Operations Director.

“Andrew and Jon have both achieved tremendous success on the field at MPS but have also been an integral part of the office staff at the club,” said MPS Director of Coaching Peter Bradley.  “The pair of individuals will bring leadership, quality and dedication to Florida Premier Soccer.”
